Nordnet: Creating a best-in-class customer experience
In 2017, Nordnet was taken private by Nordic Capital and the Öhman Group, who shared the ambition to create a best-in-class customer experience in the digital savings industry. During four years of ownership, Nordnet became a leading Pan-Nordic savings and investment platform with more than 1.5 million customers. Savings capital more than doubled to SEK 565 billion. Significant platform investments created a more flexible IT infrastructure and accelerated product innovation. Nordnet advanced its sustainability agenda—40% of client investments were in top-rated sustainable funds by 2019 (vs 13% in 2016). Nordnet was successfully re-listed at end of 2020 with a substantially over-subscribed offering. Today Nordnet is uniquely positioned as the only Pan-Nordic platform of scale.
