Valedo invested in Akademikliniken in 2011 with a plan for accelerated growth. During ownership, the company evolved into the Nordic market leader in plastic surgery and aesthetic treatments. Key achievements: establishment of three new hospitals and walk-in clinics, two strategic acquisitions (Specialistkliniken, Ellipse Klinikken), units increased from three to sixteen, and significant focus on research and service development. Divested to Polaris Private Equity in June 2016.
